Dr. Deepak Kumar, MSPT, FIAP, PhD (Former Certified International Mulligan Concept Teacher) Dr. Deepak Kumar graduated from National Institute (1993) & completed his PG in Sports Physiotherapy (2000) and Doctorate in Mulligan Concept (2012). He has also been to Curtin University, Australia, to get his super specialization in Manipulative Physiotherapy (2002). He was awarded with distinguished service award by Indian Association of Physiotherapists in 2006 and the prestigious fellowship award from Indian Association of Physiotherapists in 2010. He is a clinical teacher and examiner to various Universities in India. He is the former certified Mulligan Concept Teacher. He is also a certified McConnell concept teacher for Asia region. Trained more than 10,000 students during the last 11 years from various reputed institutes of Asia. Made 12 inventions in manual therapy, electrotherapy & exercise therapy. Guided 53 research projects and still growing. Presented 34 research papers in various state/ national & international conferences like IFOMT and WCPT, bagged 9 best papers and six 1st runner up awards. Published 4 papers in reputed journals. The new techniques on Mulligan Concept have been acknowledged by Brian Mulligan and mentioned in his 5th & 6th edn. book. A helpful guide

This book is how textbooks should be. Often it is difficult for students to comprehend the concept being put down by authors due to the language used or paucity of illustrations. This book is an exception. The techniques have been put down in a simple language and a systematic manner supported with abundant images. In addition to explaining the correct technique, the common mistakes have been pointed out which is of great help. It seems an appropriate book for revision as well. Totally recommend it.

MUST READ BOOK FOR MANUAL THERAPY

This is a must read book for all those who want to learn mulligan concept. The key feature of this book is that it includes more than 1500 illustrations which makes understanding really easy. You feel as if u r in a practical class n understand the techniques in a much better way. It also includes common mistakes done by therapist with illustrations which guide a lot. The language is simple n lucid. Commendable work done by Dr Deepak Kumar Sir. This a amazing book for all physiotherapists and all those who want to learn manual therapy.

Amazing book.

Amazing book. A must read if you wish to learn the mulligan concept.
1)easy language
2)great illustrations- illustrations of each step for most techniques, illustrations of hand placement the right way as well as the wrong way.
Reading it is like attending a practical class. Great way to learn mulligan mobilisation. Also covers a few techniques where neurodynamics is combined with mulligan and mulligan taping techniques. If you wish to learn the mulligan concept. I would highly reccomend this book. Surely the best.
